RARE Vintage Numbered Porcelain Pagoda Hand Painted Lidded Music Box

Made in Japan and circa 1950s, this stunning pagoda music box is entirely hand painted on all sides and the top and sits on a hexagonal base with gold-rimmed butterflies, birds and flowers. It is 10” H x 6” W and weighs about 2 lbs. The pierced lid is removable and holds the wind-up music box which winds and plays “Life is a Cabaret” beautifully. It is marked “Hand-Painted Lenwile China, Ardalt Japan” 9914 on the bottom as shown. In fantastic vintage condition with no chips, cracks or nicks and virtually no wear to the design. Also makes a beautiful gift that can be passed down for generations to come!
